How to use our auction, The Buzz Board
1. Register as a bidder by entering your credit card number and an e-mail address for communication purposes. Registered bidders will be asked to submit a username and password. Protect the confidentiality of your information. Should you feel there is any breach of security or unauthorized use, contact us immediately.
2. Search to find things you want to bid on. We offer several ways to search for items. You can enter a treatment name, i.e. massage or a State by its abbreviation, i.e. TX (for Texas). You may also utilize the advance search box to further refine your search. This feature allows you to look by category, price, end date as well as many other narrowed options.
3. Select an item; enter your bid amount, enter your username and your password. At this point you will be able to accept the bid, retract your bid or cancel the bid entirely.
4. Enter a bid that is within your budget but higher than the current high bid. High bids are displayed along with the description of the item. On occasion there will be a buy it now option as well. See more complete details listed further below.
5. Click the Submit Bid button to go to the Web site's confirmation page. The site will advise you immediately on the status of your bid (whether you've been outbid or currently have the highest bid).
6. Look for a Current Winner message on the page showing that your bid is currently the highest. If no one outbids you before the auction period ends, you 'win' the auction.
7. Check your e-mail regularly during the auction. ALSO BE SURE TO CHECK YOU JUNK MAIL!! IF YOU DON’T IDENTIFY US, OUR MAIL COULD GO TO JUNK. You will receive an e-mail message if you are outbid during the auction. Place another bid if you wish to bid higher.
8. Work out payment and shipping details directly with us when you win an auction. (We will contact you via e-mail with an invoice.) You can submit payment through our site with Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

Payment
Buyers may use Visa, Mastercard or American Express to complete their transaction. We want to ensure that you have the best experience possible and our payment gateway is the best one that we have found. Your security is a priority to us. We utilize a high-grade encryption service and have our SSL certificate. Credit cards offer buyers the most consumer protections.
Reserve Price
A reserve price is the lowest price at which the item will be sold. Although you may start a bid at a particular price, a reserve will be indicated.
Buy it now
No patience? Or the thought of going into a bidding war make you crazy? You may be able to pay the highest price the seller will take to outbid all the others. Clicking the Buy It Now button can do this. Suppose someone is selling an item for a starting price of 25 dollars. Several interested bidders will start submitting their bids over that amount. If you really want an item and are willing to pay the highest price set, then you can click the button and are awarded the item, for which you have to pay the price of 75 dollars for example. Get a nearly instantaneous quick fix with buy it now.
Fees and Additional Charges
Gratuity: Be sure to check if your item includes gratuity. Some of our items include it, some do not. It is customary to provide gratuity in a spa, ranging from 15 to 20% of the cost of the service. Spa policies can vary so be sure to check with the spa, so that you can reward a good work.
Shipping: Your default shipping address will be used for anything shipped. Should you want it to be shipped to another location, please advise us immediately. All products will most likely have a shipping fee. Some of our spa treatments have a certificate and will have a small fee to be mailed. Such fees will be included in the description of the item.
Sales Tax: The sales tax charged depends upon where the order is shipped. You will be able to view the sales tax included in the order before your credit card is charged.
Items with Lodging: Some packages may include additional fees. For example, if you win something with a hotel night included there could possibly be a resort fee, a parking fee, mini-bar charge or additional tax. You will typically be responsible for food and beverage, and any additional charges for activities that you decide to do. We suggest that prior to bidding, you contact the individual hotel to inquire about such fees. We try to make our descriptions as complete as possible and provide as much information for you as well can.
Buzz Keepers: Bees have been given the recent distinction of being the most invaluable species on the Earth. No surprise--- as bees have the massive responsibility of pollinating nearly 1/3 of all crops, not to mention a vast number of the botanicals and herbs used in spa products – (oh… and chocolate and coffee too)!! Creating the Buzz Keepers is our way of assisting with the conservation of bees and ensuring that they live well too. All bids on the Spa Buzz Auction will support the bees and all users will be considered an honorary Buzz Keeper. Fees will be allocated as follows: $1 for all items under $100. $2 for items $101 to $200, $3 for all items $201 - $300, $4 for all items $301 t0 $400, $5 for all items $401 - $500… and well, you see where we are going! We give the proceeds to the following organizations: American Beekeepers Federation and the American Community Garden Association. Please contact us should you need a tax-deductible receipt.
Shipping
Some items have an additional charge for shipping and delivery that could possibly be significant. The cost is dependent upon the origination and destination of the package, in addition to the item’s weight. If you're uncertain about shipping costs, contact us prior to bidding. Typically we send items by FedEx; however, at times we may use USPS.
When do I receive my items?
Some items can be redeemed upon payment. Other items (like products or a location specific gift certificate) should be received within 2 to 6 business days. Should you want something expedited, please let us know and we will do our best to assist you.
Return Policy:
All items are FINAL sale. We do not accept any returns.

The Spa Buzz posts all items posted through the Spa Buzz Auction. At this time we do not have independent sellers on our site.
Before you bid, please understand we only accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
If you have any questions about an item, e-mail us. We suggest that you do not place your bid until all of your questions have been answered. It is our intention to get you all the information you need so that you fully understand everything you need to know.
We do not accept any returns.
Some treatments and services do not include gratuity. May we suggest that if you are happy with your service you tip on the full cost of the treatment provided.
As this is an auction, people may bid on the same items that you do, prices can go up. Please watch items if you really want something so you do not miss out on it.

When you receive an e-mail with news that you've "won" an auction, arrange to pay for your purchase. Pay with a credit card, and as soon as we receive authorization, we can provide you with your certificate for redemption or ship your item to you.
